I had a lovely stay at Green Lake House in Bourton-on-the-Water. The location was fantastic, within walking distance of the town centre and all amenities. The house was well-maintained and in a quiet cul de sac. The small touches like the picture messages around the home made it feel like a cozy and welcoming place. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had all the necessary facilities for a short stay. I also appreciated the free parking and easy access to the main trunk road. I had a great experience and would recommend this hotel.
One drawback was the lack of practical outdoor space, especially for guests with dogs, as the soil flower beds could lead to muddy paws on the carpet. Additionally, there were several fines mentioned, such as the threat of a fine for not taking out our own bin, which made us feel uneasy during our stay.

The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful Cotswolds, with easy access to other villages and towns. The house itself was cozy, tidy, and equipped with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, allowing for a good night's sleep. The small walk along the river to Burton on the Water was a delightful experience. The property's furniture and homely touches added to the overall comfort. We were also pleased to find ice in the freezer, a thoughtful detail.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

Great location, just a short walk from the village center and its cute independent shops and restaurants. The house was well-equipped with thoughtful touches like a bottle of prosecco, coffee capsules, and biscuits. The owners provided a helpful map of the area, making it easier to explore nearby villages and go on hikes.
The master bedroom mattress was uncomfortable and left us with bad backs. The check-in and check-out times were inconvenient, with check-in at 5pm and check-out at 10am.

Had a wonderful stay at a charming house near the river. The location was perfect, allowing us to explore the beautiful Cotswolds. The house was cozy and well-equipped, making us feel right at home. The comfortable beds and lovely furniture added to the overall enjoyment of our stay. We especially loved the small walk along the river to Burton on the Water. a fantastic experience that we would highly recommend.
The mattress in the master bedroom was not very comfortable and left us with back pain. The price of almost £300 per night seemed quite steep for the size of the property.

We had an amazing time exploring the beautiful Cotswolds! the location was perfect for our needs, just a short walk away from the charming town center and convenient for visiting other nearby villages. the house itself was cozy, tidy, and clean. the fully equipped kitchen was a big plus, allowing us to prepare our meals comfortably.
First, the shower pressure was a bit low, but we discovered a clever trick to improve it by holding the shower head low for a few seconds.
